Construction Industry Training Council of Washington
The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington is a state-licensed, nationally accredited, open-enrollment construction training program for beginning and advanced construction professionals. CITC’s training programs currently serve more than 450 apprenticeship and craft training students, 2,500 continuing education students and 150 students taking part in commercial, industrial or pipeline skills assessments and performance verifications. Ninety-one students graduated in June 2010 with certifications from our electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal and heavy equipment operators programs.

Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee
AJAC is a state-wide, state-funded, non-profit organization that develops and implements Washington State registered apprenticeship programs for 10 aerospace and advanced manufacturing occupations to create the next generation of tradespeople. Some of the occupations include aircraft-oriented machinist, aircraft mechanic and composite technician. Apprenticeships combine supervised on-the-job training experience (93%) with classroom instruction (7%) that includes theory and hands on learning.
